Weekend Parking September & October: $10 cash only at gate. This lot is closest to all activities unless specified. Follow directional signage and officers off Columbia Blvd. Lot is locked at 9 p.m. Weekday parking is available around town. ADA Parking is available in a specific area with your sticker in this lot on the weekends.

Bathrooms: Located around the Courthouse Plaza. Permanent restrooms are located across from City Hall, and there are many portable facilities behind the Rose Garden.

Food: There are several restaurants & pubs in St. Helens by the square. Vendor carts with delicious foods will be available on all weekends. Enjoy the yum!

Apparel and Souvenirs: The Official Spirit of Halloween Gift Shop is located at Cuts +, directly across from the Courthouse Square. St. Helens, Oregon gear is available at Woodland Cottage, located directly across from the square. Quantities are limited, so plan a stop as early as possible to get your favorites.

Staying? There are two hotels available in the area: The Best Western Oak Meadows Inn (503-397-3000) or Motel 6 at Village Inn Restaurant ( 503-397-1490). Deer Island Manor is another option at http://www.deerislandmanor.com or Nobb Hill B&B at http://www.nobhillbb.com (this is the only location within walking distance). You can also check out our local Airbnb as a consideration. Make sure your reservation is in 97051 area code. If you don’t mind a drive, we now have an official Host Hotel in Portland. The Silver Cloud Inn is wonderful, and the closest you can get to experience both PDX and St. Helens, OR – it might take a half hour to an hour with Halloween traffic to St. Helens, OR from this location so plan accordingly. They have many amenities you can enjoy.  Book your stay at www.silvercloud.com or by phone (503-242-2400),. Be sure to ask for Halloweentown rates.

Information: Daily information can be found at the kiosk in the corner of Courthouse Plaza (by the pumpkin) – this  should be the first stop for One Big Ticket Holders.

Spirit of Halloweentown is open 24/7 for photo ops,

  • Free Every Day: Enjoy photo ops at Courthouse Plaza.
  • Free Every Day: Go on a Self-Guided Haunted Tour. Tour maps are available in the message board at Courthouse Plaza, or the front desk of City Hall
  • Free Every Day: Enjoy the Scarecrow Trail throughout the business district and other locations. Drive by or enjoy a stop at The Gravehound at Drake’s Towing & Recovery located at 2135 Gable Road.
  • Free Every Day (after dark): Enjoy a ghostly walk in downtown St. Helens and watch for the storefront apparitions & special effects.

  • The Columbia County Museum – 244 Strand Street
    The museum is a favorite of those who want to hear about hangings and murders that happened in the Courthouse Plaza and beyond. Tours of scenes from the movie Halloweentown and more are available. Visit Columbia County Historical Society and Museum Association online for times and hours and details on any paid events.
  • Face Painting & Balloon Twisting: Courthouse Plaza Square
    Saturdays: 11 am – 5pm, Sundays 11am – 3pm
  • Museum of Peculiarities & Oddities Walking Tour
    Take a walk to the unusual – a tongue in cheek collection of odd, weird wonderful stuff.. Visit store fronts along Columbia Blvd and 1st Street and read the unusual stories of the exhibits before you. Some are short, while others tell tales of residents and more. The Shuttle runs on weekends only: Saturdays 10:00 am – 5:30 pm and Sundays 10:00 am – 3:30 pm  *Please note the Big Parade may require a close by drop off and pick up on parade day. The shuttle is not ADA compliant. Tour includes shuttle ride, and keepsake map of exhibits. $5 dollars. Children under 2 free  
  • Seek the Spirit of Halloweentown Coin Challenge – Courthouse Plaza Square Information Igloo
    Get the coolest coin or cup in town when you complete the challenge. Complete the card by finding the “Spirit of Halloweentown” Squares displayed at the participating businesses around town. Pick up the challenge card from the information igloo at Plaza Square before boarding. Shuttle leaves from corner of 1st & St. Helens Street by Wild Current Catering. Activity time varies, but plan on at least 30 minutes. You may want to stop and dine at our uptown restaurants. *Please note the Big Parade may require a close by drop off and pick up on Parade Day. The shuttle is not ADA compliant.  $5 per adult/child. Children under 2 free. Includes coin or cup. 
  • Festival of the Fairies – Riverfront (by fenced area in front of 295 Strand Street)  Saturdays 10 am – 6 pm. & Sundays  10 am – 4 pm.
    The fall never looked so magical! Come enjoy quality family time at this fun-filled location designed with playful activities within a mysterious setting. This setting on the waterfront comes complete with “stone hedge” boulders hosting dragons & fairies resting on arches, a giant magic wishing tree where you can throw a penny and make a wish in true storybook fashion, fires, hammocks to hang out in, a storytelling bat house, and peek boxes. Enjoy the bigger–than-life games, scavenger hunts, hula-hoops, Whack-a-Witch, Dragon Story theater, Zorb Ball Racing throughout the day.  Hug a goat at the Tiny Farm  enjoy some maypole dancing. Wear a magical costume and become part of the fun. The area is designed for the playful at heart and there is a lot to do and experience. We reserve the right to add even more activities too! Strollers are allowed. Small dogs are allowed if carried by owner. No dogs allowed in area that are not in owners control or that cause any disturbance to any other guest due to barking, Children under 2 free – all others $15. In and out privileges throughout the day. Entrance includes Wand or Animal Figures and Halloween candy too. Children must be accompanied by a responsible party.   • Walk to the Alien Landscape & New Alien Museum
    Take a walk to the alien outpost and get a super cool photo. Return to the Masonic Ballroom across from Courthouse Plaza where you’ll enter and watch some recorded close encounters and hear some actual police radio reports of the alien ship that visited St. Helens, Oregon. Hear what our local law enforcement has to say about an alien encounter and check out all our amazing alien artifacts, take some wonderful and fun photo ops and believe they are out there! Cash only onsite $5. Entrance includes Alien Color Changing Cup. Included on One Big Ticket Passes. 
  • The Tiny Parade of Pumpkins
    Inside 2C’s Vendor Mall by Courthouse Plaza. You’ll get to see a collection of super interesting pumpkins that are the center of every Halloween celebration. $5 Cash onsite. Entrance includes Halloweentown Mug. Included in One Big Ticket Passes. 
  • Haunted Mansion – 40 Cowlitz Street
    Everyone agrees this is one of the best Haunted Attractions you will ever see. Family friendly and frightening fun. Saturdays until 2 p.m. and Sundays until 3 p.m. included with One Big Ticket passes.   • Witches Fire & Dance Show – WAUNA Credit Union Stage
    October 5, 6, 13, 19, 20 – 3pm, 4pm, 5 pm – 
    A funtastical 30 minute Fire & Dance Show. Includes Hot Cider. Cash Only Onsite $5. Children under 2 free. Included in One Big Ticket Passes

One Big Ticket Passes
(Last weekend in September and every weekend in October) Make sure you read times so you know when things close. Most activities run these times, except The Haunted Mansion and Fire Show  – Saturdays 10 am – 6 pm. & Sundays  10 am- 4 pm

One Big Ticket Pass are limited and not available to purchase onsite at this time. Passes include an “either day option” as well if you are planning on visiting Halloweentown on the weekend, so you can spread your activities over 2 days.  Passes include a FREE Shuttle to uptown anytime you wish (limited to shuttles open hours on the weekends.) These tickets are limited so don’t wait.

One Big Ticket Passes include: Festival of the Fairies, Alien Experience & New Museum, Museum of Peculiarities & Oddities Walking Tour, Tiny Parade of Pumpkins, The Coin/Cup Challenge, Unlimited Shuttle Ride to Uptown, The Haunted Mansion and The Witches Fire & Dance Show (limited dates – see above description for details on Witches dates and times) and the ability to spread out your activities over the entire weekend.Early Bird Pricing: $45 per person. Children under 2 (with parent) free. Includes all extra swag as described by activity descriptions! Halloweentown resides in St. Helens, OR Courthouse Plaza 97051. It is a real city, which you can visit at no charge. There are free activities as well as paid activities and lots of fun photo ops too. Most pay-as-you-go activities require cash only. You can pay as you go at any activity; but you will save money by purchasing the One Big Ticket Pass. This pass allows you to use it both days so that you can spread out your activities at the most convenient time for your family. It also includes unlimited FREE Shuttle to uptown anytime you wish (limited to shuttle hours) where other activities take place within a few steps of the drop off locations. These One Big Ticket passes are limited, so don’t wait. They are not available onsite for cash at this time – only
One Big Pass tickets do not include ticketed Photo Ops,
